Joe Irwin, President and CEO of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association
Joseph Irwin is President and CEO of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, and has been since 1999. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1980 with a BS degree in Industrial Management and did his graduate work at the University of North Texas.
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Mr. Irwin was President of the JERZEES Division of Russell Corporation, a vertically-integrated apparel manufacturing and marketing company. During an 18-year career with Russell, Mr. Irwin began as a sales representative and worked in a variety of marketing and general operating capacities in locations across the country.
Joe is the co-author of a book called Cathedrals of College Football – a look at the traditions and history of football at the very best universities. He also serves on the Board of the Council of Alumni Association Executives and the Board of Georgia Tech Facilities, Inc. Joe and his wife Becky live in east Cobb County with their children, Kevin and Jennifer.
Join fellow Alumni to catch up on everything happening at Georgia Tech while we enjoy dinner and conversation at the Washington Athletic Club.
Dinner is $35 per person includes heavy Hors D’Oeuvres, and Coffee plus free parking. Beer and wine cash bar will be available.
